Has life become unmanageable?

Maybe ADHD is negatively impacting your career, education, and/or relationship. Maybe you’ve been able to cope with ADHD in the past, and find that those coping skills are no longer working.

At its core ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder, meaning it’s something we are born with, and is the result of the brain developing differently than we might expect. When most people think of ADHD, they think only about trouble focusing and sitting still. But in reality, ADHD has a much wider range of symptoms. It impacts our executive functioning skills, such as processing, planning, and acting.

Executive dysfunction caused by ADHD can  impact every facet of your life:

  • Struggling to stay focused and productive (work/school/home)

  • Frequently overstimulated or overwhelmed

  • Constantly feeling behind on your to-do list and unable to make progress

  • Being unable to start and complete tasks, leading to frequent procrastination

  • Focusing too much on just one thing

  • Being easily distracted

  • Daydreaming or spacing out when you should’nt be

  • Struggling to switch between tasks

  • Problems with impulse control (gambling, drugs, sex, technology)

ADHD Counseling can help

It may feel impossible now, but you can take control of ADHD. You can be productive and live a life you enjoy.

And I can help you get there.

Counseling for ADHD will focus on helping you:

  • Learn about and understand ADHD and how it’s symptoms impact your daily life

  • Develop strategies, skills, and tools for improving executive functioning, so you can be productive, happy, and build a life you love.

  • Learn to love and accept yourself and ADHD, and begin making progress in your life.

I’ll help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. My approach to ADHD comes from a place of understanding and hope.

Growing up with ADHD and OCD, I've experienced first-hand how difficult and overwhelming mental health issues can be at times. I feel that my experiences have allowed me to be able to understand others who experience mental health difficulties, while also understanding that what has worked for me may not work for you. I focus on evidence-based interventions, and more importantly, work with you to see what works best for you. I believe you are the expert of your story, and I'm only here to help and assist you in achieving your goals.

Overwhelm and executive dysfunction don’t have to be your story.

I can help you get there.
